The foundation of this institution traces its roots to 24 May 2019, when the foundation stone was laid with deep reverence by Late Shri Harinath Jamindar Singh Ji—a figure remembered with profound respect as part of a family that honours its traditional association with the 909th decendant of the Ikshvaku Dynasty belonging to the noble and direct lineage of Lava, the revered son of Lord Shri Ram.
Following his passing, the Savitri Harinath Singh Foundation Trust rose as a living tribute to his enduring legacy. Driven by devotion, shared vision, and deep duty to their roots, his beloved sons—Shri Ajay Harinath Singh, Shri Vijay Harinath Singh, and Dr. Balwant Harinath Singh—came together to carry his memory forward in the most meaningful way possible: by building a sanctuary of healing where the people of Sultanpur and beyond receive world-class care, dignity, and compassion.

Shrimati Savitri Singh
Savitri Singh, wife of Late Shri Harinath Jamindar Singh ji, and a mother – raising four children with quiet strength, while never losing sight of the world beyond her own home. She was more than the lady of her house — she was the lady of her village. Since 1996, she has worked tirelessly to bring literacy, awareness, and opportunity to the women around her, educating them on government programs and training them in craftsmanship and home science, so they could build lives of their own.
Her work went far beyond the home. She led welfare and development efforts under the Gram Vikas initiative, working to genuinely improve the quality of life in her village. She played an active role in strengthening local agriculture, helping farmers grow more, better, and with greater confidence.
Perhaps her most lasting change was a quiet one — introducing household gas connections to a village still cooking over wood and coal, moving families toward a safer, healthier way of life. It’s this same spirit — practical, tireless, rooted in genuine care for her community — that lives on in the hospital that carries her name today.
